Sheryl Bass brings more than 15 years of communications experience to clients as she masterfully positions their stories amid top- tier media outlets securing high quality earned media placements. Sheryl also spent three years as a journalist/reporter and two years providing strategic corporate communications services.
Sheryl is known for consistently garnering significant national, regional and local publicity for clients including The Wall Street Journal, The Associated Press, Fox & Friends, CNN/Money, Reuters, the New York Times, and NBC’s the Today Show. She has a reputation for solid research skills, for developing creative communication strategies and for writing compelling collateral; whether presentations, webinars, by-lined articles, blogs, announcements, educational brochures, e-newsletters, press releases, fact sheets, talking points, website copy, pitches, abstracts, case studies as well as speaking and award submissions. Many of her clients have been in the health/wellness, pet, B2B, tech, nonprofit and author/book publishing industries.
In fact, Sheryl is also the author of two multi-award-winning children's picture books, Baby Dragon's Big Sneeze and Baby Dragon Finds His Family.
She earned a Master of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder, a Master's degree in social work from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the Florida State University. Sheryl lives with her husband and two dogs in the northwest suburbs of Chicagoland.
